How Tri Delta has affected your time as an undergrad: I can't imagine what my
undergrad would have been like without TriDelta! First and foremost, it's been a home away from home. I've had the opportunity to meet such amazing women who have inspired me to accomplish more than I thought I could. I have no doubt that the friendships I've made will transcend my time in chapter.

Last Words: TriDelta has been such an important part of my life during undergrad. I
hope that future sorority women will also have as fulfilling of an experience as I have had.

Nothando Swan

Year Initiated: 2009
Degree: HBSc Health & Disease, double minors French and Spanish
Offices Held: Vice President Public Relations, Philanthropy Chair, Academic Development Chair

Future Plans: Obtain my MD and develop my own practice, complemented by work in scientific journalism

Favorite quote/Last words: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” Marianne Williamson

Words of wisdom: When it comes to your classes, treat each one as if you were working towards a PhD in it. Although you may not find it THAT riveting, your professors do and will expect you to master the material!
