What have you gained as a member of Tri Delta?
I can honestly say that joining Tri Delta was one of the best decisions I could have made upon entering my first year at the University of Toronto. When trying to narrow down something that I gained as a member, I came to realize that it is impossible to focus on one thing, because I have gained so much. I acquired a sense of balance in my educational career that can not be found in just any extra-curricular activity, and I was given the opportunity to meet, and form bonds with an amazing, inspirational group of girls, whom after only one year in chapter, I can sincerely call, "my sisters." I highly anticipate my future years both at UofT, and as an active member of Tri Delta, and can not wait to see what the future holds for us as we stick together, motivating, and cheering each other on along the way, as always!

What does Tri Delta mean to you?
In theory it should be easy to describe what Tri Delta means to me, however it turned out to be one of the most difficult questions I’ve been asked. Its easy to say that it’s a home away from home, etc, etc. While all of the above is true, what Tri Delta means to me almost can’t be described in words and clichés. It is a place where acceptance does not need to be bought at the cost of your individuality, where an only child can find the sisters she always wished for but never had, and provides smart, independent, young women with the environment to blossom and grow into the leaders and thinkers of tomorrow. It is a place where every minute and day can produce memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. It is an experience, a way of life, a haven for the young, wild and free. But most of all, it is a place that disproves the common saying that you can pick your friends, but you can’t pick your family. When I made my final decision during the fall recruitment of 2012, I wasn’t really picking a house – I was picking a family.
